Vidyakiran Appreciation Award- an initiative by the Garg Foundation, is a flagship program to recognise and celebrate academic and all-round excellence amongst girl students from grade 8 to 12. Through this program, they aim to inspire and motivate young scholars to reach new heights in their educational journey. VidyaKiran Appreciation Award is not only for outstanding performance but also inculcates lifelong love for learning and all-round achievement of girl students.
Their core values are empowerment, equality, integrity, community and excellence - drive their commitment to providing girls, the opportunities for quality education.
The competition was set on 18 th Feb, 2025 through online communication technology. Ms. Tanvi Patil and Ms. Shubhra Karnik from class IX and Ms. Ananya Dhuri from class VIII had represented Saraswati Vidyalaya, GB. Road, Thane under the guidance of honourable Principal of School Mrs. Renuka Mehta and diligent co-ordinators Mr. Vaibhav Satam and Mrs. Yosheema Ramkumar. These girls had undergone two rounds of interview followed by a written assignment on specific topic. Ms. Tanvi Patil had given her view on the topic ‘If u create a new subject for schools, what would it be and why?’, Ms. Shubhra Karnik gave her views on ‘What changes do you want to bring to your community or society in future?’ and Ms. Ananya Dhuri explained her topic ‘What do you think as the biggest challenges faced by students in achieving goals? How one can overcome these challenges?’
Our brilliant girls enthusiastically grabbed this opportunity and secured their position for the award amongst 100 girl participants participated throughout India. These girls were awarded with a Certificate, Trophy and scholarship reward.
