Expression of thoughts through speech is the ideal way to connect with the audience. Public speaking is the finest art of communication to draw the attention and get engaged with them.
On December 7, 2024, at 10:30 AM, our school organized a declamation competition for the 9th grade in the auditorium. The event aimed to encourage students to develop their public speaking abilities and articulate their thoughts effectively.
Participants from different houses delivered speeches on a variety of topics, ranging from social issues to motivational themes. Each speaker had five minutes to present their speech, followed by a brief question-and-answer session with the audience. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as students showcased their skills and engaged with the audience.
The judging panel, consisting of teachers and senior students, evaluated the participants based on criteria such as clarity, creativity, audience engagement, and overall delivery. The competition concluded with an award ceremony, where Shreyas Sonavane from Kaveri House emerged as the winner. Yamuna House secured the second position, while Godavari House took third place. The event was a great success, promoting a spirit of healthy competition and allowing students to shine in their public speaking endeavors.
