The students of Std IV gathered for the school assembly and the theme was Earth Day, which is celebrated on April, 22nd. Through the school assembly children raised awareness and promoted action to protect the environment.
The program was started with the school song and followed by the welcome speech and then students performed the prayer dance for Lord Ganesha as because he is the god of new beginnings and the remover of obstacles. The performance was presented gracefully by the students.
The honourable guests were felicitated by the students. There was a Prize distribution ceremony for the winners of handwriting competition. Then there was a skit presented by the students to share their efforts and encourage others to spread awareness about Earth Day in their community.
Last but not the least there was grand dance performance by students on songs based on importance of conservation and protection of the Mother Earth which was performed beautifully by the students.
Finally, the program was ended with rendering the vote of thanks to all our audience and dignitaries who enjoyed the program immensely.
