Career Guidance Seminar – A blueprint to success

Career guidance emphasises to find your passion and make the career that enhances your calibre and organise you to reach greater heights. It features a step by step approach in paving the path to success. Our admired Principal Mrs. Renuka Mehta always encourages students for their positive and long term view in career development. In view of the fact, the school organised a three days career guidance seminar in collaboration with Scale up Academy from 7 th April, 2025 to 9 th April, 2025

Scale up Academy, led by Founder Directors Mrs. Poonam Mishra and Mr. Yogesh Mishra, successfully hosted the seminar at Saraswati Vidyalaya, Ghodbunder, Thane, for students of Grades 8, 9, and 10. This enriching initiative was delivered by the esteemed Education Consultant, Mrs. Swarali Ranadive, Director of Glint Overseas Education Pvt. Ltd. Each day of the seminar was tailored to the specific developmental stage and academic needs of the respective grade:

• 7th April 2025 (Grade 8): Roadmap to Success

• 8th April 2025 (Grade 9): Your Success Blueprint

• 9th April 2025 (Grade 10): Turning Point: Discover Your Path with Confidence

The seminar was conducted with the valuable support of honourable Principal Mrs. Renuka Mehta and diligent Coordinators Mr. Vaibhav Satam and Mrs. Yosheema Ramkumar whose encouragement played a crucial role in the event’s success.

Throughout the sessions, it was evident that many students felt overwhelmed and confused about their future. Questions like, “What career should I choose?”, “What if I can’t achieve my dream of becoming a doctor?”, and “How do I even start figuring out what’s right for me?” surfaced repeatedly.

With warmth and clarity, Mrs. Swarali Ranadive guided students through a process of self- reflection using interactive activities and thought-provoking questions. She emphasized that career decisions should be based on personal interests, strengths, and personality and not limited to academic progress or peer pressure. Students were encouraged to explore a wide range of career options and think beyond conventional paths.

Importantly, the session tackled fears around failure. Mrs. Ranadive posed a powerful question: “If you decide to become a doctor and it doesn’t work out — does that mean it’s the end of your dreams?” Her answer was a resounding no. She inspired students to look at careers as journeys, not destinations. The key takeaway was that success lies not in one specific job title, but in giving your best in any field you pursue. Passion, perseverance, and purpose create prosperity — and money follows excellence.

By the end of each session, Mr. Yogesh Mishra boosted energy of each student by giving a motivational speech. Eventually it was heartening to see students gain clarity and confidence. Many expressed that they now had a direction and better understanding of themselves. The sessions not only provided information but sparked self-belief — helping students take their first step towards a fulfilling future.
