B.Com (General) is an undergraduate course that educates candidates in the field of commerce. Candidates who enroll in B.Com after 12th commerce, gain ample knowledge in the field of accounting, account ledges, profit and loss statements, maintenance of accounts, taxation, laws of accounting and calculation of different taxes.
B.Com (Honors) is a three year degree program, where candidates gain ample knowledge of their chosen specialization in the third year. Specializations in Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) program include, Marketing Management, Accounting and Financial Management, International Trade and Finance etc. One of the biggest advantages of choosing an Honors program is that it allows candidates to gain deep knowledge in their chosen specialization, unlike General B.Com programs where summarized knowledge of all specializations is imparted.
BMS is a three-year undergraduate program. However, some universities like Delhi University imparts 4 years BMS program. It is considered as one of the best courses after 12 Commerce as the program provides deep knowledge in management and commerce subjects like human resources, employee relations, research methods and accounting and prepares learners for the top-notch business firms. St. Xavier’s College, University of Delhi, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics etc. are some of the prominent colleges for this program.
To take admission in the BMS after 12th commerce, candidates need to qualify the joint entrance test for BMS, which is conducted by various universities and colleges. Other than this, candidates should also have passed the 12th from a recognized board.
BBS is a three to four-year undergraduate program. The program is an amalgamation of business knowledge and practical, and enhances students’ analytical and conceptual skills, thereby training them to make a career in the corporate world.
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Some universities conduct entrance exam for admission to BBS program too.
BAF is one of the best careers after 12th commerce. It is a three-year full-time undergraduate program, which imparts knowledge in subjects like financial accounting, cost accounting, auditing, taxation, business law etc.
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Candidate must secure minimum 50% marks at 10+2 level in order to be eligible for BFA program.
C.A. – stands for Chartered Accountancy. Duration depends on how you take training and clear exams.Company Secretary is a professional course administered by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Actuarial Science: This course deals with calcutaion of insurance risks & premiums. Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI): In erstwhile known as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). This institute is best known for providing coaching and training in the subject of Cost & Management Accountancy.
