In keeping with our commitment for the overall development of the students in our care, students are vested with responsibility to train and sharpen their management skills and provide future leaders.
The investiture ceremony held in the morning of 14th July 2018, was just such a step. The Sarasvi family was in a celebratory mood, and the school buzzed with excitement .Everything was beautifully decorated. The day was made special by the installation of the idol of Devi Saraswati in front the school hall.
Captain Vaibhav Dalvi , the guest of Honour was received by the Principal Mr. B.B. Dhawale and escorted by the coordinators Mr. Vaibhav Satam, Mrs. Renuka Mehta and Mrs. Poonam Bhogle . The coordinators along with the principal left no stone unturned to make this programme perfect.
Mrs. Meenakshi Bangera, coordinator of S.V.P.T.’s Saraswati Vidyalaya ( Rabodi) graced the occasion as well.
The outgoing leaders marched in unison with the incoming council as the school band, played to perfection. The school choir sang the school song followed by a welcome speech by Mrs. Pradnya Jagtap. Captain Dalvi was formally welcomed by Mrs. Jagjit Kaur. Mrs. Amruta Lad acquainted the audience with the criteria for elections to the council.
The outgoing school captain Ms. Falak Nawab shared the experience of the previous year.
The chief Guest and Principal Shri B.B. Dhawale handed out the sashes and the Badges to the newly elected council members.
The council took a solemn oath of office , promising to uphold the honour of the school and shoulder their responsibility with honesty and integrity .
In keeping with tradition, the incoming school captain (senior) Ms. Vrushali Bandekar and (Junior) Ms. Gurnoor Kaur, spoke elegantly and vowed to carry forward the legacy of their predecessors. Their proud parents also came forward to share their feelings.
The Investiture was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, known as the’ Excellentia awards’.
Mr. B.B. Dhawale spoke to the students about the qualities of a virtuous leader. Captain Dalvi shared interesting experiences of his life as a captain in the Merchant Navy, highlighting the importance of education.
Paakhi Karani, Vice Captain concluded the beautiful program with the vote of thanks to the Management, the staff, students and the parent body.
